We celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah here at Cineaste World HQ. And just about one of my favorite ways to spend the holiday is hunkered down in front of the big screen with some of my favorite holiday fare.
Must-views hereabouts include Richard Curtis’ 2003 ensemble comedy “Love Actually” for the charming scenes featuring Hugh Grant as a stand-in for pre-Iraq War Tony Blair.
Another old favorite: the Bill Murray-starring “Scrooged,” which is made perfect, in my opinion, by a positively rabid performance by Carol Kane as one of the Christmas ghosts.
Which got me to thinking: What’s your favorite holiday movie? Choose from the answers in the handy poll below. Or, if there’s one you think I overlooked, leave your thoughts in the comments box.
